A Very Important Truth

“And as it was in the days of Noe (Noah), so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man (Jesus Christ). They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.” – Luke 17:26-30 (KJV)

These Scriptures teach a very important truth – that God will not always allow the unsaved people of the world to keep living as if He does not exist. There was a definite point in time when God acted decisively in the destruction of the whole world in Noah’s day and in the destruction of Sodom in Lot’s day. This world has never been closer to another tipping point than it is today, when God will once again act decisively in its destruction.

“Behold, he (Jesus Christ) cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.” – Revelation 1:7 (KJV)

When Jesus finally returns to this present evil world it will be another time of destruction for all those who are living as if God does not exist. But God is still offering mercy and forgiveness to anyone who wants it. All you have to do is ask Jesus to forgive your sins and be your Lord and Savior. You should also obtain a New Testament or a whole Bible so that you can learn about Jesus.
