God’s Forgiveness Is Available For Every Person

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters.” – Isaiah 55:1a

“Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man (or woman) thirst, let him (her) come unto me, and drink.” – John 7:37b

“Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him (her) shall never thirst.” – John 4:14a

This water that the Bible so faithfully speaks of is the salvation of God that Jesus Christ wishes to bestow on every person who truly desires it. God promises that if you believe on Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, they shall be forgiven (Acts 16:31). The salvation of God is not just available for a select few, but for all people. You are included.

If God’s divine Spirit, the Holy Spirit, is speaking to your heart about letting Jesus Christ forgive your sins, don’t refuse this gracious invitation. Only God can fill the spiritual void in your life by saving and entirely sanctifying you. God made you so that you might enjoy spiritual fellowship with Him (1 John 1:3). The only thing that brings true satisfaction in life is the living water that Jesus offers you (John 4:10).

Remember, you are included in God’s plan of salvation through the blood atonement of Jesus Christ, applied to your soul through faith and through the operation of the Holy Spirit.

The following is a simple prayer for forgiveness taken from the Holy Bible: ”God be merciful to me a sinner” (Luke 18:13). If these seven words express the desire of your heart, then ask God to forgive your sins in the name of Jesus Christ, and, on the authority of God’s Word, they shall be forgiven (1 John 1:9). Then consecrate your life to God and ask Him to wholly sanctify you, and He will fill you with His Spirit (Romans 12:1-2; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24). God has promised to do these things for anyone who desires His salvation with all his (her) heart.

Don’t forget to be baptized with water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit as a testimony to your new life in Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19).
