The Promise Of The Savior

“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” – Genesis 3:15

Genesis 3:15 has commonly been believed by many Christians to be the first recorded promise of the Savior, Jesus Christ. Even though Adam and Even fell from their original state of purity, God determined to give them an opportunity to repent and be forgiven if they would believe in His promise of the Seed, Who would bruise the head of the serpent. Now the Seed of the woman is Jesus Christ, and Jesus “bruised” or “broke” the power of Satan by His death on the cross, not only for the sins of Adam and Eve, but for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2).

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. – Titus 2:11

God’s grace can break the power of Satan and sin in your life if you really want Him to. You only need to ask God, in the Name of Jesus Christ, to do it.
