Heaven

In the Holy Bible you will find that Heaven is a place where GOD lives. “Our Father which art in heaven . . .” (Mt. 6:9) tells us so. God wants you to be with Him in Heaven and He has made it possible for you to live there. Heaven is a place where peace and happiness are found. Sorrow, pain and death will never enter Heaven (Rev. 21:1-5).

Ezekiel 18:4 says, “the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” When you do what is wrong you commit sin. The Bible says, “all unrighteousness (wrongdoing) is sin” (1 Jn. 5:17). Sin also means not doing the right thing when you know you should do it. “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin” (James 4:17). Ephesians 2:1 refers to sinners as being spiritually dead. Romans 3:23 says, “all have sinned.” Galatians 3:22 says, “the scripture hath concluded all under sin.” The Bible establishes the fact that all people have sinned at one time or another. Reader, you were born with a sinful nature (Gen. 5:3; Ps. 51:5; Rom. 5:12), and unless you are born again and wholly sanctified by the SPIRIT OF GOD (Jn. 3:3,7; 1 Thess. 5:23-24) you will be the servant of sin, and you will obey the dictates of your sinful (carnal) mind (Jn. 8:34; Rom. 8:6-8). Exclusion from Heaven is the final result of sin (Rev. 20:11-15; 21:8). Sin, like a fatal disease, will finally destroy you!

Do You Really Want To Go To Heaven?

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (Jn. 3:16). There is only one way to Heaven — through JESUS CHRIST. Jesus is “the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (Jn. 1:29). Jesus Christ came into the world to die for your sins so that you might be forgiven of them and live with GOD in Heaven (Mt. 1:18-25; 1 Jn. 2:2; Rev. 1:5). “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom. 5:8).

If you want to go to Heaven: (1) Admit to yourself and to God that you are a sinner in need of forgiveness. (2) Forsake all your sins. (3) Ask God to forgive your sins in the name of Jesus Christ and believe that He will forgive them. (4) Be baptized with water as a testimony to your new life in Christ. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 Jn. 1:9). You can be delivered from all your sins (Jn. 8:36) and, by the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, you can be ready to live with God in Heaven. – The Christian Hope
