What You Need To Know

There is an eternal GOD Who created the world in which you live. When God made the first man and woman He gave them the power and the freedom to either obey or disobey His will. They disobeyed it and committed sin, and the result was spiritual death, along with guilt, shame, suffering, and finally, physical death (Gen. 1-3). All people, including you, have inherited the consequences of the sin of our first parents. You were born with a sinful nature and the Bible says that all people, including you, have sinned; and the penalty for sin is both physical and eternal death. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23). The wages (penalty) of sin is death (Rom. 6:23a). The Bible says that all unrepentant sinners will someday be eternally punished for their sins (Rev. 20:11-15). God is really serious about sin — but you don’t have to face His wrath. God wants to forgive your sins because He loves you (but hates your sins), and that is why He sent His Son JESUS into the world to die for your sins. The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Rom. 6:23b). Jesus took the punishment that you deserve for your sins so that you might not be punished. You can have eternal life instead of eternal death!

You must turn away from everything that is sinful in your life and ask God, in the Name of Jesus, to forgive your sins, and He will forgive them. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 Jn. 1:9). You will be spiritually born of God’s Spirit, the HOLY SPIRIT (Jn. 3:1-7), and you will then know that your sins have been forgiven. As God’s devoted servant, you can be made clean throughout your entire being by being filled with God’s Holy Spirit. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it (1 Thess. 5:23-24).

By God’s grace you will be able to live a life that glorifies Jesus. Be baptized with water as soon as possible in the name of the FATHER, the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT as a sign of your repentance and new life in Jesus.
