Nothing – Without Jesus you are lost already!
You were born with a sinful human nature, and God’s Word, the Holy Bible, declares that you are a sinner.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” – 1 John 1:8
As a sinner, your guilt before God increases every day of your life.
“But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.” – Romans 2:5
If you die in your sins you will suffer eternal death, which is not a cessation of life, but an eternal separation from God. You will exist forever in the abode of the damned.
“For the wages of sin is death.” – Romans 6:23a
Your place of punishment: the Lake of Fire.
“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” – Revelation 20:15
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” – Revelation 21:8
Your duration of punishment: FOR EVER AND EVER!
“And these (lost sinners) shall go away into everlasting punishment.” – Matthew 25:46
Eternity! O, Eternity! Where will you spend eternity?
What Must I Do To Be Saved?
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and You will be Saved!
Jesus Christ shed His blood for your sins by His death on the cross.
“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” – John 1:29
“In whom (Jesus) we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.” -Ephesians 1:7
God loves you – that is why He sent His Son Jesus to die for your sins.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8
You must recognize that you are a sinner and confess to God that you need His forgiveness. You must forsake your sinful way of living and ask God in the name of Jesus Christ to forgive your sins. You must be honest about yourself with God, for He knows everything about you.
“Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” – Isaiah 55:7
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 John 1:9
You will know that your sins are forgiven when you are spiritually born again of God.
“But as many as received him (Jesus), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” – John 1:12-13
You must surrender your life to God and do His will, as far as you can know it.
“Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?” – Acts 9:6
NOTE: You should be baptized with water in the name of the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit, as a testimony to your repentance of sin and your new life in Jesus Christ.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit).” – Matthew 28:19
